Sustainability and Certifications
With an updated environmental management system, Bortolini is
configured as an eco-efficient company par excellence.
The Bortolini manufacturing plant was born with directives aimed at valorizing ecodesign and significantly reducing the impact generated by the industry on the environment. Therefore, the company adopts practical measures such as: vegetative cover to reduce temperature in indoor environments; rainwater harvesting system; natural lighting in the administrative sector; autonomous lighting, composed of photovoltaic cells; and waste separation for proper environmental disposal.
Bortolini Móveis was one of the first manufacturers of corporate furniture in Brazil to achieve FSC® certification for its products. The system ensures the best practices in forest management and production, certifying that the wood used in the furniture manufacturing comes from reforestation. Additionally, it has the ABNT Ecological Label, which considers the life cycle from resource extraction, manufacturing, distribution, use, and disposal of products, encouraging the reduction of negative impacts generated in the production process.

The Bortolini ID Studio is focused on research and development of new products and services.
Established in 2009, the Bortolini ID Studio consists of a multidisciplinary team focused on researching and developing products and services, using design to seek functional, ergonomic, and eco-efficient solutions for corporate furniture.
Through it, different designers collaborate with specialized engineers to develop, prototype, and test new product designs. The studio is responsible for launching various product lines, including MAX, LEGALE, ORDER by designer Paulo Dias Batista Júnior, and more recently the CLASSIC line by Sidinei Sbeghen and SCUOLA, in partnership with the ECTOR Design studio.
